Apple iPhone update 1.01 released

Topics Mac on August 1st, 2007

Download and install went smooth, but for now it looks like this really is just a “bug fix” update with no noticeable added features…Anyone out there try it??

UPDATE: A list of big fixes can be found on ’s site here. It looks like just patched security vulnerabilities in for the most part…so sad.

UPDATE 2: Check out some other changes we’ve all found below.

* When setting up an mailbox and you fail to properly connect, the will now ask you if you want to continue and try again with SSL off.
* In the actual mailbox, much more folders are available for view like Inbox, Deleted Items, Sent Items, Drafts, Sent, Trash, Junk E-, Outbox, Public Folders, and RSS Feeds. These will vary depending on your actual folders, of course.
* When setting a passcode to lock the device, it now offers a much wider choice of lock times.
* If you decline connecting to a network, a popup box will let you know that you can turn off if needed.
