Ask For Help Using Remote Assistance

A picture is worth a thousand words. It’s also much easier for someone trying to help you solve a problem if they have access to your . They can see the problem and figure it out much faster if they can access your rather than taking shots in the dark by asking you all kinds of questions.

How-to Ask For Assistance Help with a File

1. Click Help and in the Start menu.

2. Click the link to use Assistance to get help.

3. Click Invite someone you trust to help you in the Assistance window.

4. Click Save this invitation as a file.

Note: Leave the Waiting for incoming connection open. If you close it the invitation to to your will not work anymore.Send the invitation file to someone who can help you via e-, burn it on a disk, or a drive.

How-to Ask For Assistance Help by E-

1. Click Help and in the Start menu.

2. Click Invite someone you trust to help you in the Assistance window.

3. Click the link to use Assistance to get help.

4. Click Use E- to send an invitation.

6. Your default e- will open with the invitation file attached. Send the e- to the person you want to help you.
