Steps 1-3 are all good advice and can improve performance.

Step 4 remove dust, is good but don't expect any performance gains.

Step 5 Clean the registry, should be done with care. A registry cleaner can be useful but indiscriminate use can be dangerous. No program can be completely certain that a specific registry key or value is safe to delete. There will be little if any performance gains from doing this. CCleaner also contains options for some "optimizations" of very dubious value. Some actually impair performance.

An underpowered power supply may cause a number of problems such as lockups and crashes. But don't expect any performance gains from replacing it. The performance of a computer is not related to the capacity of the power supply.

you should make it six ways to improve your computer speed

by disabling Windows Image Acquisitions u can improve speed
especially at start up

***The Fix***

Go to Control Panels

Go to Admin Tools

Go to Services

And Locate Windows Image Acquisitions(WIA)

right click go to properties and disable

apply settings

WARNING: may take time to get use to the speed!
