First time I set up Vista Ultimate x64 on dual-SLI enabled 3-core AMD PC, aero didn't run by default. Lately when I got to Control Panel\System and Maintenance\System checked out a "Windows Experience Index" link. When i went through the procedure after clicking the link, I noticed that the Aero feature was enabled. More lately when I noticed that this feature is nothing but a quite buggy overall system performance leak, I found somewhere on the net how to turn it off, and it seems now I don't remember either how I have done it and where was the article. Now I decided to make it up again, but this time I came to this exact lousy place :(

Go into control panel, "personalization" ,"window color and appearance" and choose "windows Aero".

(I found this when I needed to turn Aero off - there are some programmes that aren't compatible with it)

I agree with everyone else. I have went to many sites that list "How TO Turn ON Areo Glass" Not one of you tell us how to turn it on, only what we need to do so. What's so hard about telling us users how to do so?
