What the hell is this supposed to mean? What the hell is a &quot;start pearl&quot;?

And further on it states that I should use a &quot;floppy&quot;, but my new computer doesn&#039;t take a floppy, and the computer I&#039;m using now doesn&#039;t burn to CD.

And if I did go to a friend and get this put on a CD how does one do it? 

Seems like there&#039;s a lot of assuming going on -- how about some actual &#039;splaining.</description>
