How to solve mtnl broadband problem

If you have faced such a situation when you are not able to connect some of the websites specifically on your mtnl connection but all other websites other than those websites are reachable then this post is for you.

So after reading this post you will get answers for your questions like..

Why this actually occurs ?

This occurs when you have specified wrong address for any of your dns ’s primary or secondary.

solve this ?

1. Open run and type cmd and press ok.

2. type “ www.google.com”(without quotes) and press enter

3. At the reply note the domain for your isp (in my case it is ns1.mtnl.net.in).

4. now type “ your domain name”(without quotes in the 3 step) ,this will give you two addresses.

5. note the addresses in the reply of the in step 4 and enter these addresses in the primary and secondary dns entries in the /ip properties of your connection.
