How To Uninstall Programs Manually fo Windows
Should be noted that sometimes the Add / Remove Programs fails because the application / program has already been deleted or cant uninstall automatically from add / remove program, but the list of applications still displayed just does not reflect that. Let me show you how can i remove manually this program from my computer. Find the directory for the application and delete all the files in the directory. Delete the directory. Here are step by step how can i remove this program. ( Ex: folder name VIP )
Go to start menu and run.
Type regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE and find the folder VIP and delete the folder.
Type regedit and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE and find the folder VIP and delete the folder.
Some applications have services like autoupdate program. If so, go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services, identify and remove the service.
To remove the program from the entry Add / Remove Programs ( if they still exist )
Run and open regedit, and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and find the folder VIP and delete the file.
In Windows Explorer, go to the configuration of the individual user and delete program references. Communal to check would be:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and delete relevant entries.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs and delete relevant entries. example folder VIP
C:\Documents and Settings\PutYourWindowUserID\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and delete relevant entries.
C:\Documents and Settings\PutYourWindowUserID\Start Menu\Programs and delete relevant entries.
If no entry was found in the previous step and the application will automatically launch, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows and delete the entry.
