Index Encrypted Files for vista

By default, Vista does not index encrypted files. If you need to have these files indexed for your utilization of Vista’s functionality, follow these steps:

1. Go to the .
2. Select System and Maintenance.
3. Select Indexing Options.
4. Click the Advanced button.
5. When the UAC prompt appears, click Continue.
6. Under the File Settings section, check the Index encrypted files .
7. Click OK.
