Recently I bought a new high-end computer and the Nvidia GeForce 7600GT Graphics Card which makes the best combination to run Vista. I installed Windows Vista on one of my drives leaving Windows XP unchanged and untouched on my default C drive. After playing around a little in Windows Vista it revealed on me that most of my hardware drivers and some softwares were not compatible with Vista so I decided to switch back.

If you have more then one OS installed on your computer, but you don’t use it very often, then you would probably want to boost up the startup by skiping the OS selection screen.

After a new hard drive installation or maybe just to keep things organized the way you like, you may want to change the drive letter of a hard drive partition, CD or DVD drive in Windows Vista. The Computer Management tool makes this a snap.
Note: You cannot modify the drive letter of your main partition on your PC. In a normal Windows Vista installation, this is the “C Drive”. All other drive letters, including CD and DVD drive letters, can be modified though.
1. Click on Start and then Control Panel.

Windows’ folder views default to big, annoying icons. To get down to serious business, you need to view items in a list with detailed information.
To do this, open a folder by clicking on My Computer\C: drive, then on one of the folders, or click on Start, then My Documents. Under the View menu select Details, which reveals columns for name, creation date, size, and more. Hone your view with the directional triangles in each column to change the way items are sorted.
