Spammers are always willing to do anything it’s possible to create huge lists of valid email addresses in order to be able to launch new attacks. They are even selling huge lists of emails to other spammers who intend to send unsolicited messages to all the contacts. The latest trend seems to be infecting people’s computers with a worm and steal their email addresses. WORM_ZHELATI.AIR was discovered by security vendor Trend Micro, which wrote that it affected most Windows flavors including 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Server 2003. Jason Over the years we’ve looked at various manual methods of backing up and archiving your email messages but here’s a clever little program that makes the whole thing much easier. It’s called MailStore Home and it works with all of the popular email client programs, including Outlook Express, Outlook, Windows Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird and so on. It allows you to take all of your emails and store them in one convenient place with a single click, on your hard drive or a CD or DVD, and it is smart enough to only save one instance of each attachment (in case you have been sent the same one several times). Jason Last week, someone asked me for my fax number. I thought, “How quaint.” Seriously, there are some day-to-day office functions that are not email, web site related.
So it goes with mailing labels, envelopes, addresses. Old fashioned? Yes. For some. For others, it’s a factory job with Mail Factory.

Jason Anyone who has ever received an email from a friend or relative with several megabytes of picture attachments will know that newcomers to the wonderful world of computing and digital photography are often unaware that they need to re-size images before they are sent by email or uploaded to websites. Windows has a picture resizer built into the My Pictures folder options but here’s an even better way, a small freeware program called PIXresizer. The key features are that works with both single and multiple files, it converts between most popular image file formats (.bmp, .gif, .jpg, .png, and .tif), it creates thumbnails and there are multiple resizing methods, to make sure you get the best looking results
