There has been large number of special folders in windows and we keep accessing these folders from different locations. When I say Special Folders, I mean folders like My documents , Startup , Temporary Internet Files etc.
We cannot access all these special folders are scattered over the operating system drive and some times they are so deep in terms of the directory structure which a normal user cannot remember easily.
But a cool freeware called Special Folders View makes it possible to list all these special folders in one go.

Are you not able to fire up any commands just because your run prompt is not visible in your windows xp start menu?

You can try this freeware called Command Prompt Bar which provides an alternative Command prompt in the task bar, but you will need to activate this new command prompt which will reside in your windows taskbar. If you have used vista, you may have seen option to eject the cd drives on the right click menu on the cd drive.
This feature of automatically eject the cd drives is a part of windows vista but not provided with windows XP, but this option can be enabled in windows XP using a simple freeware software called Eject CD, Download it from here.

Jason There are many users who prefer not to enter their username and password at windows login, for the following reasons:
mainly because this would speed up the login process
decrease the hassle for them of entering username and password
But enabling autologon in windows vista is again a security risk, but may not be a problem if you are not worried about your documents and files being visible to someone else, This small tweak is basically for home users.
