Microsoft’s latest operating system was built with the PC gamer in mind.
Every copy of Windows Vista includes DirectX 10, a set of software instructions that make photorealistic visuals run incredibly smoothly. And for the first time, PC gamers can engage in online matches against Xbox 360 players.
- Sign up for a Games for Windows Live Gold account and create a Live ID for playing online. (If you already have an Xbox Live Gold account and Gamertag, then skip this step. You can use the same account on your PC.)
- Start your Live-enabled game.
- Sign in using your Live ID when prompted.
- Access the game’s multiplayer mode to find a match to join or invite friends to play.
You can also find and launch your games more easily with the Games Explorer, which is accessible from the Start menu. Jason At this point in time, Microsoft is only displaying the message “Coming soon,” instead of a list with Windows 7 security software providers. However, the company is looking to change this aspect within the next year. With Windows 7 evolved past Milestone 3 stage, as the pre-Beta Built 6801 bits have been made available to PDC 2008 and WinHEC 2008 participants, and subsequently leaked to torrent websites, Microsoft is laboring to produce the first Beta, and is also looking to ensure that security solutions will be offered to testers with that development milestone.
“Microsoft is actively working with security software independent software vendors (ISVs), so that security software solutions will be available for Windows 7 Beta and Windows 7 RTM,” the software giant revealed.
In terms of antivirus products, the policy of the Redmond company will not be altered by the advent of Windows 7. “We recommend that you install security software to help protect your computer from viruses and other security threats, and that you keep your security software up to date,” Microsoft informed. A lot of people who take photos with their mobile phones don’t do anything with them once they’re taken. They might send a photo or two to a friend, but for the most part, the photos just sit on the phone, taking up space, until it’s time to delete them to make room for more.
It’s understandable. Outside of the subscription service, it’s not particularly simple to get at those photos. Also, the methods are different on many phone models. You might even have to pay for special software to download your photos to your computer. What a drag.

This update includes the following improvements on a Windows Vista SP1-based computer:
1. The stability of Windows Vista SP1-based computers by addressing some crashes that may occur when you try to check e-mail by using a POP3 e-mail client such as Windows Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird.

I registered a few for myself, even [myname]@live.com was still available. If you can’t register a @live.com e-mail address, don’t worry there are a lot of domain names you can register your Live e-mail address.
