Microsoft is offering the latest iteration of the Office productivity suite for Apple computers for download to the members of its developer and IT professional communities.

Subscribers to MSDN and TechNet are now able to download Office for Mac 2011 at no extra cost.

Both MSDN and TechNet feature Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 (Mac) – DVD (English) under each website’s subscriber download section.

Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 can be considered the high end edition of Office 2010’s equivalent for Mac machines.

However, the only difference in terms of components is that Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 also features Outlook 2011 on top of Word 2011, Excel 2011 and PowerPoint 2011, which are also sported by Office for Mac Home and Student 2011. More »
