Hibernation is not made unavailable when you set the value of the Hibernate after setting to Never by using the Power Options item in Control Panel.
To make hibernation unavailable, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
2. In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.

Mr Byte has produced a very clear guide to disabling the Windows key on keyboards. If you’re a keen gamer, this guide could prove handy as the Windows Key is right bang in the middle of important gaming keys like CTRL and ALT, so it can be easily pressed. Pretty annoying if you are in the middle of a fire-fight and suddenly your PC switches to the desktop.

You may think a certain program is slowing your system down or actually hanging it for a few moments as soon as it boots. If so, try starting Windows in “lite” mode. 2.MS-DOS command prompts Type command in the Start menu Search box, press Enter and you can return to command land. You can also use the Start menu Search box in place of the Run dialog box.
