Internet Explorer has some quirks as we all know. However, if there is any chance that you may uninstall Internet Explorer, there could be some problems. In fact, you may not even be able to start Windows with a full functioning desktop.
Apparently, Internet Explorer version 6 and 7 are not getting along. If you upgrade IE, uninstall, reinstall, or download a version from Yahoo, Google, or Adobe, then you may lose your Windows functions after you shut down your computer. When Windows starts up again, it boots to only a blank desktop screen. A popup window will give an error code of “iertutil.dll is missing or corrupt.” There is not a way to use Windows or see your taskbar. However, we can solve this quickly with the help of another computer and we can prevent this type of situation from happening again with all Windows programs. Read More»

Method 1: Connect the mobile PC to a power source
When you plug the mobile PC into a power source, Windows Vista switches the wireless network adapter power setting in the default power plan from the Medium Power Save setting to the Maximum Performance setting. This turns off the 802.11 power save mode.

If you like Firefox then you are just going to wet yourself with pleasure with this new Add-On. It is called Tab Effect but that tells you nothing. In fact what it does is animate open tabs, so when you click to change to another tabbed window the display turns into a 3D cube that rotates to show you the selected tab. It is brilliant and a major time-waster, if like me, you end up constantly switching tabs just to watch it doing its stuff. The download is tiny, just 38kb, simply click on the Install Now button and it does the rest, you will have to restart Firefox to get it working. If for any reason you dont like it, or you experience problems simply go to Add-Ons on the Tools menu and click the Uninstall button. Try it now, you will wonder how you ever lived without it!
