Yes corrupt reg entries cause errors,but these are mainly caused by leftovers in the registry after an uninstall, by all means remove these. But as for the registry becoming bloated,well that is an old wives tale. The Windows registry is designed to grow and having a large regestry makes no difference to you system speed. Windows only uses the files it needs and it knows where they are,it doesn't have to do a huge search every time. Just remove leftovers and nothing else and you will never have Reg problems.If you use these reg tools that clean up everything; well they cause more problems than they ever fix, especially on vista.
