I bought a new laptop with Vista Installed. , I already benefit on new technology called 'readyboost', since i dont have enough dough 'yet' to upgrade my memory.

im running a dualcore 1.6, 1 gb ddr2(dual channel), X3100 intel graphics.

i dont have trouble installing or running application, but some just dont install or run, but thats fine since i could search the web for alternatives.

though I enjoy my experience with vista. i also found some bugs or two. but not related on the OS itself but on some drivers. I enjoy the Vista aero. but i disable the transparency since i am having some sort of Intel Graphics Error. and login screen crash. and when i look at the logs. i found that it failed to load the intel driver. to overcome this you should speedly login to any of account to load the graphic drivers to activate the aero. which is quite annoying. so i remove the transparency for more stability. all of my gadgets worked under this OS. though im thinking of Installing XP,Linux(if i found something that is compatible with my laptop). but right now i want to utilize what i paid for.

regarding games, i already run all of my favorite game like Needforspeed(Not yet tried prostreet), Battlerealms, ragnarok, and other. Im just an occasional gamer so if you think my fave game was lame, yeah theyre kind'a lame.hehehe.

overall, vista took care of my need eg, media, video, development,Office, gaming, filemanagement and device integration. so currently i wouldnt be needing other OS. but surely i will make it dual boot.
