Don't know what Blind Freddy is complaining about, but for my part....

Most of the "under the hood" stuff seems to range from "okay" to "good idea".
The desktop stuff, though: I love the idea for the Desktop Slideshow.
I DESPISE the Ribbon Interface. I'm biased; I created my own Word template for writing fiction, and it's built around three or four custom toolbars (I have one that I might eliminate entirely, plus a few buttons I don't use anymore). The Ribbon interface messes those up, and I'm still trying to figure out how to rewrite that template for '07. I don't understand why MS didn't include the ability to use classic toolbars for those who want them (unless there's something I haven't found yet), and hope they WILL include that option in Windows 7 (and in their next version of Office).
And as for the Taskbar/Superbar: I like my Quick Launch toolbar. I'll be disappointed if they don't make that available to users who want to keep it.

As for the rest: don't care one way or the other. At least not until I get a chance to try it out; then I might discover other preferences.

Blind Freddy, what the heck are you going on about? You vomit out a whiny list of predictions about the demise of Microsoft, and yet you fail to actually identify the features in Windows 7 that make you so angry.

Quit crying like a little schoolgirl and offer some constructive criticism.

They have lost their way.
XP will still be their last best OS.
Vista is stupid & 7 doesn't look any better.
When are they going to listen to the consumer?
Msoft is not going to make huge amounts from this junk they are churning out.
They peaked with XP and now, the only direction they are heading is down.
How thick & arrogant are they? Most people learn from their mistakes not compound their errors with more mistakes.
